The Ethical Tech Project (ETP) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tech-for-good charity. We are a “think-and-do” tank dedicated to educating, convening, and equipping technology builders to make design and engineering decisions that enable trust and foster human flourishing.
We believe products should be designed and built in ways that enable trust and improve individual and societal wellbeing, and we believe it’s possible to meet these goals without stifling innovation – or profit. Equipped with the right tools and incentives, technology builders can create solutions that are better for individuals, for business, and for the world.
Our programs aim to shift the tech builder mindset from:
Move Fast and Break Things
to:
Think First, Then Make Things – Better*
(*for individuals, for your business, for democratic societies and the institutions that support them)
